The Little Hen House isn’t the only place you can find me! I am also a Senior Editor for The Baby Gizmo Company. I write product reviews for the Baby Gizmo website and their sister blog, Rated by Mom. You can read more about my duties as a Senior Editor for The Baby Gizmo Company on my professional blog.

I post some of my Baby Gizmo product reviews and Rated by Mom blogs on this page, so keep checking back for updates. Oh, and don’t be afraid to ask me about products you are interested in, or stories you would like to see featured. I love ideas and I love feedback! *wink, wink*

How do you get a gig like that? I am an aspiring writer (hence the blog) and just want to write something…any tips for the beginner? Thanks!

Hi! Sorry to just be getting back to you. I guess my best advice it to just put yourself out there. Look for blogs that are doing what you want to do and offer to write for them. Say something like, “Hey! I do product reviews for my own blog. Would you be interested in using some of my content for your website?” Or pitch an idea to them. I did it once for a local blog. I told them I was going to write a piece about a local event and asked them if they would be interested in using it. Also, don’t be afraid to contact companies and ask them if they want to submit a product for review or do a giveaway on your blog. The worst thing they can say is “no”. Keep your blog fresh and interesting and full of great content. It’s your best selling piece! I hope this helps!
